Refund policy

Exchanges & Returns:

TO REQUEST AN EXCHANGE OR RETURN PLEASE CLICK HERE

We happily accept exchanges or refunds for any reason, including 'change of mind' as long as the following conditions are met:

  • Exchanges/returns need to be returned to us within 21 days of receipt
  • Any returned item must be in perfect ‘as new’ condition. This means:
    • Unworn, unused and undamaged
    • All tags and barcodes still attached to the item/s
    • Must be returned in the original box/packaging
    • Original tax invoice or receipt returned with the product
  • The cost of the return freight is to be covered by the customer
  • If you are requesting to return for a refund Assef’s will not refund the original freight charge. If the product was purchased with ‘free freight’ Assef’s may retain the actual cost of the original freight.
  • If you are requesting to exchange an item from the same order more than once, the actual freight cost to have the second (and subsequent) exchange sent out will need to be covered by the customer
  • Your refund request will be processed within 5 business days of receipt of the returned item via the original payment method or store credit.

 

Faulty and/or problematic products:

You can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:

  • Has a problem that would have stopped you from buying the item if you had known about it
  • Is unsafe
  • Is significantly different from the sample or description, or
  • Doesn’t do what we said it would or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time, you can choose a refund or replacement.

If we have sent you a return postage label due to a suspected fault, however upon assessment the item is deemed 'not faulty', we will retain the cost of the return postage from your refund.

Further information:

We recommend you use registered post or a trackable courier when returning an item, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit to us.

Shipping charges will be waived only if the returned item is faulty or if you received the incorrect product.

Any credit notes issued will be valid indefinitely. 

Please keep your proof of purchase.

Exchanges, refunds or credit notes are only processed once the original item has been returned to us.
